Nannine Clay Wallis Home & Arboretum
This 1851 home serves as the headquarters of the Garden Club of Kentucky, Inc. and is open to the public for tours. The house and the surrounding gardens and grounds can also be rented for special events. To make arrangements to rent the property, call 859-987-6158. All the money raised through renting the property is used by the Garden Club of Kentucky, Inc. to maintain the house and grounds.
Those who enjoy native and flowering trees and plants shouldn't miss the arboretum located in the seven-acre grounds surrounding the house. In addition to the arboretum, the extensive grounds also include several other seasonal attractions including a rose garden, a sun dial herb garden, a reflecting pool, a day-lilly garden and a pavilion.
